Stel je voor dat je met je camera rechtstreeks spreekt tot de woonkamer van 300 miljoen Amerikanen en beantwoord de vraag: “Wat zou je graag zeggen tegen de mensen in de Verenigde Staten?”. Talk to US is een wereldwijd platform dat is gecreëerd voor het uitzenden van ideeën, overwegingen en verhalen van wereldburgers voor Amerikaanse burgers. Wereldburgers nemen hun eigen filmpje op en plaatsen dit op www.talktoUS.org. Er zijn tot nu toe video filmpjes gemaakt door zowel professionele filmmakers als “gewone” burgers uit 15 verschillende landen. Enkele partners in dit project zijn: Americans for Informed Democracy, American Voices Abroad, Global Exchange, Link TV, Mercy Corps, National Alliance for Media Artc and Culture, OneWorld TV and YMDI/Media Rights.

"Pretend your camera leads straight into the living rooms of all 300 million Americans, and then answer the question: "What would you like to say to the people of the United States?" Talk to US is a global forum created to broadcast the ideas, concerns, or stories of people around the world to ordinary US citizens through short video clips. World citizens record their opinions, and submit them to The video clips, captured by professional filmmakers, as well as by anyone with a video camera and the desire to express themselves, already feature people from more than 15 countries and turn global issues from impersonal statistics into personal stories. It is these stories that have the power to open hearts and minds, raise important questions and create connections across borders. Some of the partners in this project include: Americans for Informed Democracy, American Voices Abroad, Global Exchange, Link TV, Mercy Corps, National Alliance for Media Artc and Culture, OneWorld TV and YMDI/Media Rights.

Talk to US e` un forum globale creato per trasmettere e portare le idée, preoccupazioni e storie di gente da ogni parte del mondo ai cittadini degli Stati Uniti attraverso brevi video.
I cittadini del mondo registrano le loro storie e opinioni e le inviano a “The video clips”, vengono poi realizzate visivamente da registi professionali. Potete anche pero`farlo da voi, se avete una cinepresa e desiderate esprimervi con vostre immagini. Talk toUS ha gia` presentato video da piu` di 15 paesi e trasformato istanze globali da semplici statistiche a storie personali.
